  • Roof rails and a rear spoiler enhance its sporty look. Inside, the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy smartphone connectivity, along with a spacious 448-liter boot, ensuring convenience for everyday use.
  • Priced at around ₹18,00,595, the MG ZS is one of the most affordable electric SUVs on the market. It faces competition from models like the Hyundai Kona Electric, Kia Niro EV, and Nissan Leaf.
  • While EV cars are rivals may offer longer ranges or more luxurious interiors, theMG ZSshines in terms of affordability, practicality, and fast charging capability. With its combination of efficient performance, contemporary design, and competitive pricing, the 2025 MG ZS is a top contender in the electric SUV market, making it an ideal choice for families or individuals looking to transition to electric vehicles and enjoy a practical, eco-friendly driving experience.

MG Cyberster EV:-

  • Additionally, we have the MG Cyberster, that is an electric sports car that has gained MG attention this year. This particular model is the Trophy version, with an entry-level variant available.
  • One standout feature of the Cyberster is its door design, reminiscent of the McLaren 750S.
  • In my opinion, it not only looks better than the McLaren but also sounds superior and comes at a more affordable price point, making it a compelling alternative.
MG Cyberster EV
  • The car is equipped with numerous sensors, which can be a bit sensitive, especially when standing close. The interior is quite futuristic, featuring multiple screens and a stylish cream and gray color scheme. The build quality is impressive, and the exterior color complements the red roof beautifully.
  • However, one aspect that slightly detracts from the design is the indicator lights. While they are functional, a more innovative light design could enhance the overall aesthetic. The GT version boasts around 335 horsepower, with MG claiming a 0-60 mph time of just 5 seconds.
  • Let’s see how the Cyberster performs in launch control. To activate it, we need to turn off traction control, switch to sport mode, and press the brake while flooring the accelerator.

MG 4 EV:-

  • MG has officially entered the Malaysian market with the introduction of the MG4 EV, a hatchback electric vehicle. In terms of competition, the BYD Dolphin stands out as a direct rival.
  • The MG4 is available in four variants: the Standard model priced at RM 104,000 the Luxury variant at RM 129,000 the Extended Range version at RM 149,000 and the top-tier X Power model at RM 159,000.
  • Although classified as a hatchback, the MG4 has a slightly elevated appearance due to its high beltline. It was previously showcased at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed under the name MG EX4 concept.
  • Despite the concept’s advanced features, the high beltline remains a noticeable characteristic. The vehicle boasts several attractive design elements, including sleek LED headlights, a prominently indented hood, and a striking side profile. The rear design, featured on all variants except the Standard, resembles a double-deck layout reminiscent of the Escort Cosworth.
  • The Standard variant comes with 17-inch wheels, while the other variants are equipped with 18-inch wheels. Notably, the absence of lug nuts is due to the use of an AOC cap, which varies between the Standard and Luxury models.

  • The X Power variant opts out of caps to highlight its orange sport calipers. Keyless entry is available for the front doors only, and one of the standout features of the MG4 is the privacy glass, which is exclusive to the Luxury variant and above.
  • As an electric vehicle, a common inquiry is whether it includes a front trunk (frunk). Unfortunately, it does not, and there is no electric motor in the first three variants, all of which are rear-wheel drive. The Standard variant delivers 170 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, while the Luxury variant offers 203 metric horsepower with the same torque output.
  • The Extended Range version further enhances performance, although specific details on its specifications were not provided.

MG Astor facelift:-

  • MG is set to launch an updated version of their well-known C1 segment SUV, the Aster, in the near future. This model has gained popularity not only in India but also in Spain, where it is referred to as the MG JS in international markets.
  • The forthcoming Aster will feature significant enhancements, including a high-end treatment, cosmetic updates, and upgraded features, marking the most substantial changes since its global introduction in 2018. Recently, the production versions of the new Aster have been unveiled worldwide.
  • The updated Aster aims to compete with models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and the newly launched Tata Curvv.
  • The global variant of the SUV will be powered by a hybrid engine that incorporates an Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with a self-charging propulsion system and a 1.83 kW NCM lithium-ion battery pack. This hybrid setup allows for limited operation in 100% electric mode and will be coupled with an e-CVT transmission.
  • In India, the Aster is expected to retain its existing engine options, which include a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 108 bhp and 144 Nm of torque, available with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
  • Additionally, a 1.3-liter turbo petrol engine generating 138 bhp and 220 Nm of peak torque will be offered, paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
  • Regarding dimensions, the new Aster PH will measure 4,323 mm in length, 1,889 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,585 mm and a ground clearance of 205 mm. The exterior design of the updated model features several enhancements, including a redesigned front fascia.
