Forget the Pixel 9 because these future Google Pixel leaks are already out of control. No sooner have Google’s latest flagship phones launched than we’re already hearing details about what the Pixel devices of 2025 and 2026 might look like.
A series of exhaustive leaks from several sources and publications have spilled the beans on how future Google Tensor chips might look the AI features they might power in the Pixel 10, Pixel 11 and Pixel tablet 3.
And we even have a spec sheet for the Pixel 9a, which could be launching sooner than you might expect.

So it should come as no surprise that for the coming two generations of Pixels, Google’s going to be doubling down on AI features, especially to do with photo and videography.
The first leak we’re covering here is from Android Authority, coming from leaked internal Google documents.
This gives us a high level view of the AI features coming to the next two generations of Pixel flagships. First up, the Pixel 10 looks set to expand the AI photo editing features from the Pixel 9 to video as part of a suite of what’s called Video Generative machine learning capabilities, The Google Photos app will be getting AI based intuitive video editing.
That’s a little vague, but it sure sounds like a video version of the Reimagine as photo editing feature from the Pixel 9.

Unlocking the Future: Why the Google Pixel 10 Tensor Processor is a Game-Changer for Mobile Photography
Tensor G5 should be manufactured under contract by TSMC using its second gen 3nm process, same as the latest Apple M4 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chips with Tensor G6 likely using the next generation N3P node.
A report from Notebook Check based on a similar cache of documents. An internal Google presentation deck from 2023 gives us more technical detail on the chips that’ll power the Pixel 10 and Pixel 11.
With Tensor G5 we’re reportedly looking at a core cluster consist consisting of 1 Cortex X4, 5 Cortex A720 cores and 2 Cortex A520s that should be paired with a PowerVR GPU from Imagination Technologies, the vendor Apple used in its A series chips before switching to in house designs.
In very broad strokes then, in terms of the generation of ARM cores used, this would be more or less the level of a Snapdragon 8 gen 3.
The Countdown Begins: Google pixel 10 release date– Plus Genius Ways to Cut Costs!
Features of the upcoming Pixel Ten and Pixel 11 series. As expected, google’s leaning pretty hard into age-riven innovations with these new devices.
And now, thanks to Android Authority contributor Kamila Wojciewska, it’s getting even busier because we have seen a leak from Google’s chip division that tells us all about that Tensor G5, camera AI features for the Pixel 10, and even a huge upgrade that might be coming to Face Unlock on the Pixel 11.
The Pixel 9a could launch as early as March 2025, reportedly priced at $499 in the US. That’s a surprisingly accelerated timeline that also lines up with Android 16, apparently launching sometime in 2020.
And finally, AA is at it again with another leak suggesting a binned version of the tensor G6 with part of its TPU fused off or removed, will be used for two mid tier Pixel products in the far future.
This kind of thing is normal in the chip industry and lets companies salvage chips that mostly work but where some parts are defective by disabling those defective parts.
It’s the reason some Apple M4 chips have 9 cores and others have 10.
So which products are we talking about here? Apparently it’s the Pixel 11a and the 2027 version of the Pixel Tablet, which would likely be the Pixel tablet 3 depending on how things pan out.
Information is fairly scant, but additions reportedly include a second USB port with 10Gbps transfer speeds for the tablet, which could assist with that Pixel Tablet becoming more productivity focused with external display support, and it fits with the recent windowed support added to the first Pixel tablet in Android 15 QPR1.
So a lot of Pixel information has leaked and people like Kamila Wojcieckowska have done a great job decoding what that could mean. Still, these products are more than a year out and we’re seeing them through the lens of internal Google documents from 2023.
Tensor G5 will feature an updated CPU cluster consisting of one ARM Cortex-X4 Prime Core, five Cortex-A725 Performance Cores, and two ARM Cortex-A520 Efficiency Cores.
The GPU will then also get a bump as well to a dual core Imagination Technologies DXT 481536 unit.

One of the big ones is Post Capture generative AI video editing within the Photos app, and it might even work for youtube shorts.
Basically, a will make video editing way easier by automatically adjusting your clips super Handy Right. There’s also a feature called Speak to Tweak which lets you edit your photos just by talking to your phone no more hunting for that perfect filter.
Google’s also cooking up something called Sketch Image kind of like Samsung’s A tools where you can turn a sketch into a full-blown image.
On top of that, the Tensor G-five is getting a major upgrade for video recording, supporting four K HDR at 60 frames per second compared to the Tensor 30 frames.
Google’s definitely not holding back with this one. These leaks show that google’s really pushing the envelope when it comes to blending cutting- edge hardware with a features.
The Pixel 10 and Pixel 11 series are shaping up to be big game changers, especially in photography and video editing, making these devices once to look forward to in 2025 and beyond.
Plus it’ll have an upgraded cinematic blur feature 4K at 30 frames per second and a Cool New Video light option letting you tweak lighting in your videos after you’ve shot them.
Another massive addition is Ultra Low Light Video or the Night Sight Video will now be handled entirely on device instead of relying on cloud processing like it does now.
